Pig ‘N’ Whistle Riverside first opened its doors in 2002, becoming part of the popular Pig ‘N Whistle family of pubs around Brisbane, which began with Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly in 1999.
For over 25 years, the venue has aimed to bring a slice of traditional British pub culture to the riverfront – complete with hearty British and Australian-inspired food, pints of ale, relaxed indoor and outdoor seating, and a lively atmosphere.
A gathering place for celebrations, catchups, events, major sporting moments and a thousand stories shared over a meal and a tipple.

At Pig ‘N’ Whistle Riverside, we love hosting events and providing a great soundtrack to the fun. We host soloists, bands, DJs, bagpipers and Irish dancers.
A major day doesn’t go by without ensuring we’re in celebration mode. St Patrick’s Day, St. Andrew’s Day, New Year’s Eve and Melbourne Cup are special days at Pig ‘N’ Whistle Riverside.

On offer is traditional British Classic pub fare – Fish ‘N’ Chips, Guinness Pie, Middlesbrough Parmo, Lamb Shank and other hearty fare, alongside modern Australian twists and international beers, wines and cocktails.
All can be enjoyed in our two beer gardens – the Elephant Beer Garden and the Eagle St Front Garden.
